I'm a wedding and couples photographer based in Raleigh, NC. Through a style that marries the intimate with the fun-filled, I create galleries that let your personalities shine through. I'm all about the sincere moments; the smiles, the tears, the loving looks, the whispered sweet nothings, the nibbles on the ear, the uncontrollable laughter, you name it.
Think light on the formal poses, heavy on capturing the authentic moments as they unfold.
If I'm not photographing your wedding or sitting in bed editing, I'm out hiking, running, or maybe even bowling. Yes, I love bowling; don't judge.
I love traveling to new places and trips to the mountains and will choose driving over flying if it the drive isn't too far. Long drives with questionable singing along to the radio at the top of my lungs are my bread and butter.
Also, definitely picking up Bojangles on the drive. It can't be helped.

Sam and Anna were the all stars of my wedding day! It rained (torrential down pour) right before we planned to go out and take pictures. I was obviously upset and wasn't sure what the solution was. Sam went out and scouted the location we wanted to take photos and came back to deliver the news. Hearing him say we would still get great photos of the bridal party turned the whole day around for me. The pictures turned out gorgeous and the overcast weather added to the vintage mood I was going for. Sam was great about snapping every special moment and he kept fantastic communication with me the whole evening. Great team for a wedding or special occasion!

During the shoot, he directed us, made us so comfortable, and had us laughing the whole time! The engagement shoot with him was a blast and our photos turned out so beautifully.
